HORNINGSHAM VILLAGE HALL
The hub of our local community.
About
Built in 1930, Horningsham Village Hall is set amongst the beautiful rolling valleys of the Wiltshire countryside. We boast Lords and Ladies on our doorstop along with a fantastic array of wild animals at one of Britain’s biggest and best safari parks – Longleat. Having been gifted to the village in 1960, the hall plays an important role as a space for the local community, but it is also welcoming to all who visit.
The hall itself is an elegant building looking out onto the sports field where the local cricket club can often be seen playing a match on a summer afternoon. Both hall and field are available for private hire and are perfect for a wedding reception, birthday party, exhibition or for many other uses. Although the hall is well established, the modern facilities inside allow any function to take place stress free and as it is neutrally decorated, it invites you to fill a blank canvas however it suits you and your personal needs.
One wedding booking described the hall as follows:
“Using Horningsham Village Hall was like booking a slice of the old-time countryside with a twist of modern facilities. The views alone made our wedding pictures a delight to display and gave us memories we will cherish.”
We have a small committee who meet regularly to discuss social events, village fundraising and maintenance of the hall.
If you are interested in getting involved, please get in touch. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions to get the village together and have fun.
If you would like to book the hall for a private event then please check out the bookings page.
